The Sóller Railway:

One million people a year take the train from Palma, across the plain and through the mountains to Sóller, making it the most popular visitor attraction in Mallorca. Many of these passengers then take the tram to the Port of Sóller.

This DVD contains the original 45 minute television documentary made for The Travel Channel, plus the entire journey from Palma to Sóller filmed from the driver's cab.

The documentary takes you on the journey from Palma to Sóller and then on to the Port in the tram and, along the way, tells the story of how the railway was built, a story which began 100 years ago, in 1905.

Spectacular aerial footage, shots from the train, shots from the driver's cab, and archive photographs combine to make this a dramatic and interesting documentary about one of the world's most scenic and historic railways.
